By combining statistical and engineering disciplines, Alex manages people, projects and technical details -- bringing modeling skills to analyzing options for wind power projects. Since 2007, he has overseen a range of projects from preliminary site study to securing construction permits and coordinating equipment maintenance. He brings a diverse range of talents to projects at various stages from initial evaluation to final construction.
Alex handles site assessments and manages contractors who build meteorological towers to measure wind speeds and directions, he uses analytic tools to identify wind patterns. Then he takes that data to determine economic viability – examining electrical rates from utility providers and running economic pro forma calculations on installation and maintenance of wind turbine equipment. Alex oversaw on-site installation of nine rooftop wind turbines at Museum of Science/Boston 2009. He works with clients on:
Works with the Frederick Douglass Market to provide locally-grown fruits and vegetables for Boston families.
